Onion Pakoda

Preparation Time: 30 Minutes
Serve: 3 Persons

INGREDIENTS

1. Onion - 2 Nos (medium size)
2. Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
3. Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
4. Chopped Garlic Cloves -1/2 tsp (finely chopped)
5. Chopped Ginger - 1/2 tsp (finely chopped)
6. Green Chilli - 1 no (finely chopped)
7. Asafoetida - a pinch
8. Coriander Leaves (finely chopped)
9. Curry Leaves (finely chopped)
10. Rice Flour - 2 tbsp
11. Gram Flour - 100 gms
12. Salt
13. Cooking Oil

Method
1. take sliced onion in a large bowl
2. add 1/2 tsp chili powder, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp chopped garlic cloves, 1/2 tsp chopped ginger, 1 no chopped green chili, chopped coriander leaves, and curry leaves, one pinch of asafoetida, and salt to taste
3. mix the whole ingredient properly
4. add 2 tbsp rice flour and 100gms gram flour and mix well
5. add 2 tbsp cooking oil, add 2 tbsp of water then mix it thoroughly
6. 1:39 perfect consistency
7. pour some cooking oil in a hot kadai pan
8. put the onion batter into the oil. cook in medium flame
9. stir occasionally and cook both sides
10. deep fry till golden brown color and crispy
11. serve hot. Enjoy!!
